Jide’s singular professional goal is to help business owners catalyze the next phase of growth within their enterprises. Having come up in a family of entrepreneurs, he developed a keen interest in operations through first-hand exposure to businesses of various sizes, complexities, industry focus and geographic footprint.

 

Through those experiences, Jide grew a greater appreciation for and understanding of the meticulous strategic and tactical planning it takes to scale a business. He hopes to bring those skills and insights to bear as an operator, in partnership with his investors and other relevant stakeholders in the business acquired.

 

Professionally, Jide has had an extended career in financial services and private equity. He began his career in investment banking at Lazard Freres and Wells Fargo Securities where he advised multinational businesses on over $3 billion in mergers and acquisitions and capital-markets related transactions. Following that, he spent 5+ years as an investor at numerous institutions (World Bank/IFC, Actis Capital, VRP) to help deploy private equity and debt capital in companies and projects across various global growth markets. As an advisor and an investor, Jide has developed both strategic and operational expertise in small and mid-sized businesses.

 

Jide received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Sc. in Finance and Accounting (Honors) from the University of Maryland, College Park.
